Neurobiotech will play a starring role in “B-Future”, the project included in the great program of the European Researchers’ Night, promoted by the European Commission. 55 projects have been accepted in Europe among 128 candidates.
An event that will bring the science, its history and its successes, among the people, in everyday life. B-Future is built on the great success of the 2017 edition, carried out by the Fondazione Neuromed in the I.R.R.C.S. Neuromed of Pozzilli, in the Molise Region, and in the Neurobiotech Research Center of Caserta. Students and citizens approached the world of science through exhibitions, public events, popular activities and, above all, the dialogue with researchers.
Back to the Future (B-Future), which will take place at the end of September, is one of the cornerstones of the European initiative for citizen involvement in the humanity’s greatest adventure. The main theme is in the logo: an arrow of time, which can guide us back to see the journey of ideas and discoveries. To understand how the seeds of our present were planted centuries ago, sometimes millennia. And to realize how we are today planting new seeds, shaping the future generations.
A mobile phone, an airplane, a vaccine that saves millions of lives … everything originated from an idea, perhaps from many failures and from many new attempts. It will be like getting on the time machine, discovering how we get here, and where we will go thanks to innovation.
